What Is the GTA 6 Beta Testing Program?
It's Rockstar's way of stress-testing Grand Theft Auto VI before the full launch. The GTA 6 Beta takes place in Leonida -- a fictional state inspired by Florida -- with Vice City as its centerpiece. You'll run into Jason and Lucia, the game's dual protagonists, and get a feel for what Rockstar North has been building. The whole thing is published by Rockstar Games under Take-Two Interactive.
Beyond Vice City proper -- Ocean Drive, Starfish Island, Little Haiti, Vice Beach -- there's the Grassrivers wetlands, rural farmland, and Port Gellhorn to poke around in. It's a big map. Multiplayer is also part of the GTA 6 Beta, with dedicated servers handling 128-player sessions.
