This is where you'll find the latest on what's happening with the testing program -- new builds, patch notes, server maintenance windows, and any announcements from Rockstar. Builds typically drop every two weeks or so, each one packed with bug fixes, performance tweaks, balance changes, and the occasional new content surprise.
Build Updates
Each build gets a version number and release date. The notes cover everything: resolved bugs, gameplay adjustments, graphics engine changes, and multiplayer stability improvements. Occasionally, a major build will reset certain multiplayer progression for testing purposes -- Rockstar gives advance notice when that's happening. Check the features page for what's available in the current build.
Server Maintenance
Scheduled downtime is announced at least 24 hours ahead of time. During maintenance, online multiplayer goes offline, but single-player content stays fully accessible. Most windows last 2 to 4 hours and are timed for off-peak hours. Unscheduled outages are rare but do happen -- if you can't connect and there's no maintenance notice, check Rockstar's server status page.
Staying in the Loop
The Rockstar Beta Center app supports push notifications for new builds and announcements -- turning those on is the fastest way to know when something drops. You can also keep an eye on the beta portal for program-wide updates. And if a new build introduces unexpected issues, the troubleshooting page gets updated to match.
The testing phase runs through June 30, 2026, with the full game launching November 19, 2026. Plenty of time left to contribute -- and plenty of updates still to come.
